Do you really want less government spending? Then lets take a close
look at the defense department.
Department of Defense requests for the 2011 fiscal year are $721
billion. A tidy sum. That doesnt even include non-military
intelligence operations, the VA, veterans pensions, Homeland Security
and a host of other defense-related expenditures. When those are
added the defense budget swells to about $1.2 trillion.
There might be some waste in there.
