You'll be singin' da blues this Saturday, Nov. 10 at the Northern Michigan Blues Challenge held at the Southside Hideout in Buckley.
Up to eight solo/duo acts and six blues bands (including East Bay Blue, pictured here) will take the stage in the annual event held by the Northern Michigan Blues Society.
Some foot-stompin', hand-clappin', hootin'-hollerin' audience support is always welcome to rev up your favorite performers, and of course, the Challenge offers a chance to catch the hottest blues acts in the region at a rock-bottom blues entry fee.
Booze & blues -- how can you lose?
The winning acts will compete at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Jan. 29 - Feb. 2. The upcoming show runs from 3 p.m. to 1 a.m., with a $5 donation for entry.
