No Raise From reading your recent letter on raising minimum wages to $15 an hour by 2018 you should’ve studied your Economics 101 course a little harder. A business just cannot raise their employees’ wages to $15 an hour and not come up with a way to offset that high of a wage increase...

Peninsula Grill: an Old Mission Tradition

Jennifer and Mark Davies purchased Molly’s By Golly in the center of the Old Mission Peninsula, changing the name to the Peninsula Grill.

Tap Room Replaces Union Cantina

Dining Ross Boissoneau The restaurant group is a partnership between brothers Matt and Mark Davies and their wives Patty and Jenny. The four decided to close their Mexican-themed Union Cantina in downtown Traverse City and reopen it as Union Tap & Grill, which Matt Davies says better fits both the area and the company’s other holdings.
