The walls are now a vibrant green offset by a crisp white under the chair rail, with an eclectic mix of furnishings. The chalkboards announcing the day’s offerings made the jaunt from Lake Leelanau.

The Cherry-Roubaix Celebrating Cycling

At 9am on a Sunday morning, hundreds of cyclists will line up on Traverse City’s Front Street to embark on a full-day celebration of bicycling, scenery, local food and drink.

Sound like fun? That's the whole idea behind Cherry-Roubaix, the Traverse City cycling event that offers road space to cyclists of all abilities and throws in a big, fun bash to look forward to at the end.

Dates Jamie Kauffold The Mighty Mac Swim is an annual crossing of the Straits of Mackinac between Michigan’s peninsulas, alongside the Mackinac Bridge. It takes place on Labor Day, beginning at 7am. Swimmers have raised money to benefit Habitat for Humanity. SWIM IS AT CAPACITY.
