On Ice with the Olympians

Did your kiddo watch the Olympics this winter and start dreaming of being a figure skater? If so, get them to Centre Ice Arena (1600 Chartwell Dr. in Traverse City) on Monday, July 20, from 12:30-5pm for a clinic with four 2026 Olympic skaters: Ellie Kam, Danny O’Shea, Emilea Zingas, and Vadym Kolesnik. The clinic is open to all ages and skills, from beginner to advanced, and skaters will be split into groups based on their skill levels. There will be both an on-ice and off-ice seminar, a Q&A panel, and then meet and greet time with the Olympians. Skaters are asked to bring skates, yoga mats, water bottles, sneakers, and snacks for the afternoon. The clinic is $200 per person, and registration can be completed at gofiguretc.org.
