Things That Go Bump in the Night
Spooky season is upon us, and community storytelling group Charlevoices is leaning into the scare with “Things That Go Bump in the Night.” Charlevoices is all about “true stories told live,” creating events where “real people share real experiences, where listeners feel connected and understood, and where our community is strengthened through compassion, creativity, and shared humanity,” per their website. This Halloween edition will be held Oct. 16 at First Congregational UCC, 101 State Street in Charlevoix. Local storytellers will share tales from their own lives that are guaranteed to send a shiver down your spine and have you looking under the bed before you turn out the lights. Admission is free, though donations are appreciated. Learn more about the group and the event at charlevoices.org/event-detail/Things-that-Go-Bump-in-the-Night.
