In Traverse City, you never quite know when a new restaurant is going to become the hottest ticket in town or fly under the radar. Tacos & Tequila, which opened in the former Pacificoast space, falls into the latter category. Our opinion? The place deserves more love! In particular, Tacos & Tequila lives up to the equal billing it gives to its booze component, with almost an entire page of its menu devoted to margaritas. We tried the frozen mango margarita (delicious!), but could have gone for any of the other available flavors (strawberry, raspberry, pina colada, blueberry, cherry, peach, kiwi, or pineapple), to say nothing of more adventurous options like the “Frozen Blue Moscato Margarita,” or the “Strawberry Cheesecake Margarita.” Can’t make up your mind? Margarita flights are an option, too! Try them all at 123 W Front St. in TC.
