Tree Of Life -- An Exhibit: TC artist Mary Fortuna explores the Tree Of Life - Connecting The World in this mixed media installation. This small show runs through April 25. The Tree Of Life that will grow in the GAAC's Lobby Gallery is populated with animals, birds & insects. Each one is a hand-sewn soft sculpture. Hours: Mon. through Fri., 9am-3pm; Sat., noon-4pm.

Architecture BY HAND: TC architect Ken Richmond & Steve Stier, a Benzie County resident who is an expert in historic barn restoration, talk about the relevance of hand work in the creation of contemporary & historic architecture. The By Hand project runs March 29 - May 30 & is comprised of a series of visual art exhibitions & community conversations.
"RED": Set in the 1950s, & based on a series of real events, this play by John Logan takes a compelling look at the ever-changing relationship between an artist & his creations.
Radium Girls: In 1926, luminous watches were the latest rage until the girls who painted them fell ill with a mysterious disease. Inspired by a true story, Radium Girls follows one dial painter as she fights for her day in court. At the April 13 matinee, the Grand Traverse Area chapter of the League of Women Voters will hold a special voter registration event.
