Random Exhibition: "Random: Collages From The Scrap Pile," an exhibition of spontaneous compositions by Leelanau County artist Mark Mehaffey. Random is also a tutorial about remaining alert to creative possibilities.

"Creative Minds Changing Minds": This traveling art exhibit will be hosted by North Country Community Mental Health (NCCMH) with a stop at Petoskey District Library, May 8-15, in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month. Artworks by Martin Kiper of Levering & Melody Pruett of Pellston were selected by NCCMH to represent six northern Michigan counties: Antrim, Charlevoix, Cheboygan, Emmet, Kalkaska, & Otsego. Artist in Residence Talk: Chandra Wu: Seattle artist Chandra Wu will talk about her car journey east to Glen Arbor, & how that spring trip became the heart of her artist-in-residence project. Wu, the Glen Arbor Arts Center's first artist-resident of 2025, will share stories & vignettes of her two-week residency.

Kid's Craft Lab: Chalk Animal Silhouettes: Pick your favorite animal & watch how chalk can make it glow. There will be lots of ways to experiment with chalk on black construction paper.
