Help those in need by decorating a tree! By sponsoring a Strolling Lights Festival Tree for $150, you’re helping the Empire Area Food Pantry, which serves those who are struggling to put food on their tables. Monetary donations can also be made online. With the funds that are raised from this festive tradition, Crystal River Outfitters Recreational District hopes to increase the amount of protein, flour & sugar on hand, as well as helping four-legged family members who often go unfed. You can start decorating your trees on Fri., Nov. 21, & the public can view them with the kickoff Thanksgiving weekend, & running through the New Year.
