Preserve Historic Sleeping Bear will be highlighting the Boekeloo Cabin, one of six log cabins on the mainland in the Park. Stuart Boekeloo is a descendant who will be on-site to share history & stories of his family's time at the cabin. Check out Preserve Historic Sleeping Bear's preservation of the cabin. The cabin is set at the end of a two mile two-track in the Platte River area of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. It is a peaceful location on a cranberry bog with a path from the cabin to Lake Michigan.
