Renewable energy needs

Renewable Energy DegreesNorthwestern Michigan College of Traverse City is now offering two degrees
and certificates in renewable energy technology. Recently available for
the
first time this spring semester, students have the opportunity to pursue
an Associate of Applied Science degree in the following areas:
Renewable Energy Technology Electrical: Focusing on wind and
solar-generated electricity with residential and commercial consumers.
Renewable Energy Technology HVAC: A geo-thermal energy production and
solar emphasis in regards to heating and cooling in residential and light
commercial applications.
Students will have access to a variety of technology including wind
turbines, a mobile solar photovoltaic lab and solar thermal system; and
will attend classes on-campus, as well as the University Center and Aero
Park campuses.
