Lessons in (Wine) Chemistry
Jan. 10, 2026
Challenge yourself to learn something new this winter…bonus points if that new hobby is A) delicious and B) makes leftovers. Black Star Farms of Suttons Bay is running a Winter School Series, where their culinary team will teach small classes various arts in the kitchen. On Jan. 10, the focus is focaccia and how to get that perfect, “olive-oil-kissed crust.” Jan. 17, join up for a mozzarella and pizza Napoletana cooking class. Finally, on Jan. 24, get the vino flowing with Cooking with Wine 101, which is all about stocks, sauces, and sipping complimentary wine samples. Tickets for all of the above are available through MyNorth Tickets and include the instruction, ingredients, and your finished product to take home…or nosh on while you enjoy a bottle of wine after the class. (Attendees get 10 percent off wine and merch in the tasting room!)
