Old Heart, True Love

The northern Michigan premiere of award-winning film Old Heart will be shown in Milliken Auditorium at Dennos Museum Center in Traverse City on Thursday, April 16. Shot in both west Michigan and the Netherlands, the film is based on the acclaimed novel by Peter Ferry and explores a 1944 romance between a now 85-year-old African American World War II veteran, who escapes assisted living to find his wartime love. Meet co-director Kirk Wahamaski, producer/screenwriter Roger Rapoport, and stars of the film after either the 3pm or 5pm showings.
