The annual Water Is Life Festival—part of the 2026 Water Weekend Sept. 4-7—heads to Bayfront Park West in Petoskey on Saturday, Sept. 5, from noon-9pm. Learn how to build power through community, to live in a holistic way with the water, and to protect our waters from threats. Plus, enjoy live music by Levitator, Jon Hayes & The Company, Kevin Johnson, Eliza Thorp, and SUNNI’i. There will also be activities, door prizes, and activities for all ages. Other weekend events include an open mic night, a “Pipe Out Paddle Up” paddle, “No Line 5 Tunnel” outreach, and more. oilandwaterdontmix.org/water_weekend_2026
