Winter Break at the Library
Dec. 20, 2025
Trying to keep the kids busy while school is out? Head to the library! Dec. 22, take your 12+ tweens and teens to the Mesick location of the Cadillac Wexford Public Library from 3-5pm for a Book Bedazzle workshop to bling out a book cover or spine. Over at the Marion Area District Library, stop in for Holiday Storytime and crafts on Dec. 23 at 3:30pm or a New Year’s Eve Countdown Storytime at 11:30am on Dec. 30. At the Traverse Area District Library main branch, find the Flashback Crafts for Teens on Dec. 29 from 4-5:30pm, plus Pokemon Club for ages 7-12 on Dec. 30 from 2-3pm. And last but not least, the Kingsley Branch Library will host a Holiday Make-n-Take with crafts and activities from 1-3pm on Dec. 22, and then a Jane Austen movie night on Dec. 30 from 5:30-7:30pm to celebrate the author’s 250th birthday.
