The speaking engagement is part of the Library of Michigan's 2024 Michigan Notable Books Author Tour. Berens will discuss her latest cookbook, "Pulp: A Practical Guide to Cooking with Fruit"; recently selected as a Michigan Notable Book for 2024. NMC's Great Lakes Culinary Institute students will recreate both sweet & savory recipes from this cookbook for attendees to sample.
