Running into Winter: Call for Race Calendar Submissions

We know it’s only mid-October, but we’re starting to pull together our calendar of winter races for Dec. 21, 2026, and beyond. If you’re planning a running, biking, skiing, or other cold-weather race, make sure it’s on our radar! Here’s how to get your race in the paper: Send an email to events [at] traverseticker [dot] com with the subject line “Winter Races 2027.” Include the race name, race date, race location, website address for race information, and/or the website address for online registration. Be sure to send in no later than Dec. 10. We accept submissions in any of the 13 counties in our coverage area: Grand Traverse, Leelanau, Benzie, Antrim, Manistee, Wexford, Missaukee, Kalkaska, Crawford, Otsego, Charlevoix, Emmet, and Cheboygan. Ready, set, go!
