Mountaintop and Moonlight Dinners

Aug. 22, 2026

If you haven’t been to a ski hill since there was snow on the ground, here’s your sign to make a summertime visit. On Tuesday, Aug. 25, Crystal Mountain hosts a Mountaintop Farm-to-Table Dinner, complete with a chairlift ride, a welcome reception, and a family-style dinner in the yurt. The dinner is 21+; $199 per person at crystalmountain.com. Later in the week, on Aug. 28, the Inn at Bay Harbor invites you to dine under the full moon—the Sturgeon Moon, in this case—with a multi-course meal that features caviar, smoked sturgeon, beef filet, and a deconstructed s’more finale. (According to the Farmer’s Almanac, the moon is named after this Great Lakes fish because they were once so abundant at the close of summer.) The dinner is $80 per guest, and a wine pairing add-on is available for $45 more. Find more details at innatbayharbor.com.
