2 The Moon Bakery’s Green Goddess Sandwich

Tastemaker
By Anna Faller | June 6, 2026

With the season’s verdant foliage finally out in full swing, we can’t help but think green—specifically, the Green Goddess sandwich from 2 The Moon Bakery in Lake City. Picture this: two toasty slices of house-made sourdough (which undergoes a 24-hour fermentation for plenty of gut-boosting goodness) stuffed with vibrant mixed and micro-greens from Bashobean Family Farm in Manton, avocado, sliced cucumber, tangy feta, and, per the name of this heavenly handheld, creamy, scratch-made green goddess dressing packed with notes of parsley, spinach, and tarragon. Now picture it tucked in your cooler with an icy drink and a pastry case treat. We added turkey for extra oomph (pictured), but the veggie version is just as herby and full of fresh flavor. Either way, consider yourself fueled up for summer! Get your greens at 100 Main St. in Lake City. 2themoonbakery.com
