Dr. Marc Berman, author of "Nature and the Mind: The Science of How Nature Improves Cognitive, Physical, and Social Well-Being," uses science to show that spending time in natural environments can ultimately boost our ability to direct attention. Berman is the world’s leading environmental neuroscientist, & founder & director of the Environmental Neuroscience Laboratory at the University of Chicago. He will be joined in conversation with Grand Traverse Regional Land Conservancy Board member Terrie Taylor.
