This program celebrates the deep connections between music & other art forms. It features Dana Wilson’s Musings for horn & piano, a work that gives voice to each of the nine Greek muses through expressive musical movements & poetic readings, brought to life by Laura Mittelstaedt. There will also be works by Franz Liszt & Robert Schumann, alongside the world premiere of a new composition by Interlochen faculty member Cynthia Van Maanen.
