A Comedy of Terrors

Oct. 24, 2026

You’ve never seen Dracula like this! Old Town Playhouse brings a gender-bent reimagining of Bram Stoker’s classic with Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors, describing the show as “a combination of what would happen if the legendary vampire tale was put into a blender with Mel Brooks, Monty Python, and The 39 Steps!” Expect an alluring Count Dracula, a female Van Helsing, and plenty of blood-sucking mayhem (and clever wordplay) to ensue. There are five more showings—Oct. 24, 29, 30, and 31 at 7:30pm and Oct. 25 at 2pm—and tickets range from $25-$35. (Note: OTP lists this as a show for “informed audiences,” as it includes “mild sexual humor” and “vampire themes including biting human necks and dripping blood from the mouth.” oldtownplayhouse.com
