Share Your Favorite Michigan Mysteries

Stuff We Love
Oct. 24, 2026

We’ve been diving into all kinds of spooky stories this week, and that got us thinking about our 2027 Histories & Mysteries issue! Each year, we put out a call to readers to help us find the old, forgotten people and places—and the creepy, keep-you-up-at-night tales—that deserve their moment in the sun. (Or, at least, in the pages of Northern Express.) Tell us about your favorite historical figure, landmark, or legend by sending an email to info |at| northernexpress |dot| com with the subject line “Histories & Mysteries.” In addition to covering real-life folks and events, we also welcome suggestions that are strange, supernatural, and downright scary! Tell your favorite local history buff or conspiracy theorist that we will accept ideas through Dec. 1, 2026.
