A Leland Community Cleanup

TC-based Valor Skincare has always had a commitment to the Great Lakes, from their eco-friendly skin products to their low-waste packaging to their involvement with 1% for the Planet, an organization that helps direct revenue to environmental causes. This weekend, they’re hosting a community cleanup in Leland on Saturday, June 20, from 10am-12pm. Meet at the gazebo in front of The Find North 102 N Main St. and bring protective gloves, a reusable bag or bucket for collecting trash, closed-toe shoes, and a trash grabber if you have one! For an earlier start, join a donation-based yoga class at 9am on the beach with River Studio ($20+ donation requested—100 percent of proceeds to go to Fishtown Preservation). There will be complimentary snacks and drinks throughout the morning, door prizes from local businesses, suncare products from Valor Skincare, and more!
