An M22 Tee

Stuff We Love
July 4, 2026

This year, M22 is celebrating 22 years in business. (Hard to believe it’s been that long!) So we’re celebrating one of our favorite pieces from the last two decades: the classic M22 T-shirt. According to the retailer, this is the “iconic piece” that “started it all.” For us, it’s a summertime go-to, especially now that they’ve given adorably local names to the colors like Betsie Blue, Dark Cherry, and Petoskey Stone. Most of the tees are 100 percent cotton and stocked at one of M22’s storefronts across the region—Traverse City, Suttons Bay, and Glen Arbor—or online in sizes small through 2XL or 3XL. Shirts are designed and printed in northern Michigan, and 1 percent of every purchase goes to the Leelanau Conservancy, with over $269,000 donated over the years. Learn more about their sustainability and giving efforts at m22.com/pages/giving-back.
