Your Holistic Connection

March 2, 2008
Holistic health is alive and well in Northern Michigan, which is brimming with opportunities for self-improvement seminars, health fairs and classes. Here’s a partial rundown on who’s doing what:

Just Imagine, TC
The Just Imagine Creative Center at 225 W. 14th Street in Traverse City has a calendar that’s bursting with activities, ranging from a “Fearless Living Study Group” to “Dances of Universal Peace.”
March offers numerous art classes for kids along with a “Discover Your Authentic Woman” group; classes in folk and tango dancing; acoustic music and Tibetan bowl concerts and more.
On the second Sunday of each month, “ontological artist” Patty Lohman creates handheld labyrinths, taking participants on a meditative journey.
