The Main Event - Krazy Daze: March 20-21 is the weekend for this year’s annual spring celebration at the Highlands, with live music in the Zoo Bar and Slopeside Lounge and loads of other no-holds-barred festivities. Ski and board all afternoon and take part in the Krazy Cup’s infamous Silly Slalom and the hilarious (and damp) Ski Over the Pond event.

But Wait, There’s More: Start winding down the season March 28-29 with the Family and Friends Race and 26th Annual Ski League Championships on Saturday and the World Cup-style Chocolate Cake Downhill race on Sunday. Your final chance to put your gear on the hill is the Highlands’ Spring Board Meeting April 11-12 when the terrain park crew piles up the remaining snow, cranks up the music and drops ticket prices for one last hoorah.

The Main Event – Mardi Gras: This one-day celebration on March 21 may signal the ski season end is near, but there’s still a good chunk of hill time left at Nub’s. The traditional Soaker Cup is a highlight, as are the famed costume and Crazy Couples contests. If you’re looking for one last chance to race, the Pepsi Challenge and Dorie Sarns Open Races will oblige. The Petoskey Steel Drum Band performs out on the deck to add even more energy to this already zany day.

But Wait, There’s More: Mardi Gras may end, but the Super Fun Park returns on March 22, with a special park designed just for the event and contests like the High Ollie and Rail Jam. On March 29, stop by for the annual Nub’s Nob Telebration and check out some Telemark demos and great slopeside snacks for you free heel skiers out there. Don’t miss April 5, the season’s last scheduled day of skiing and boarding at Nub’s.

The Main Event – Carnival Weekend: March 20-22 means spring carnival time at the Mountain, with special Ski and Stay packages making it easier to catch all the fun. Friday features skiing and snowboarding all day with DJ Bill Da Cat in the Snowflake until the wee hours. Saturday is the big Carnival party on the hill at the Victor Warming House, with zipline rides, the Wig Party, adult costume contest (win Boyne season passes for next year), the St. Pedro’s Day buffet and more live music. If you make it through all of that, check out the Last Man Standing breakfast buffet at Stein Eriksen’s Sunday morning.

But Wait, There’s More: Staying Up North for vacation? Never fear, Boyne is here with special activities and entertainment specifically for spring breakers March 27-April 5: bonfires, zipline rides, a sushi night at Everett’s, movies and, of course, skiing and boarding as long as the snow holds. This is probably your last chance to ski the Mountain for the season, so make it count.
