Blessing of the Fleet 2026

It’s a big week for the Harbor Springs Area Historical Society! On Thursday, June 25, get out on the water for the Blessing of the Fleet, an annual boat parade tradition in Little Traverse Bay. Per their website, “Vessels of all shapes and sizes are welcome from canoes, kayaks and paddleboards to sailboats, motor boats and yachts.” If you’d like to participate, the blessing is free, but donations are encouraged. Or you can watch the parade by setting sail aboard the flagship Harbor Princess, which gives out the blessings and where your $75 registration includes a drink ticket and snacks. The parade starts at 6pm. The evening concludes at the Pier Restaurant for the historical society’s Summer’s Launch Party with hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar, trivia, and a raffle.
