Dream Team in the Dugout

Northern Michigan’s Dream Team, a co-ed baseball league for youths, teens, and young adults with disabilities, is gearing up for their spring opener. The first games of the season will be held Saturday, May 11, at the Grand Traverse Civic Center at 10am. That day, the players will also celebrate the ribbon cutting for the universally-accessible dugouts that have been added to the Civic Center fields. The dugouts are now larger, able to accommodate wheelchairs, and have improvements like roofing and better drainage.
