Four Shows, One Weekend

April 18, 2026

Ready for a weekend at the theater? Here’s your itinerary: Thursday, April 23, catch the Rivertown Follies on the Cheboygan Opera House stage for their “Follies Flashback,” a sketch comedy musical that “recreates some of the greatest moments of the last 40 years.” (Show at 7:30pm; tickets $20.) Friday, find the Manistee Civic Players taking on Four Old Broads, a comedy set in the fictional Magnolia Place Assisted Living and performed at the Manistee Senior Center. (Show at 7:30pm; tickets $15-$20.) Saturday, Old Town Playhouse puts on The Drowsy Chaperone, a show-within-a-show that parodies your favorite musicals of yore. (Shows at 2pm and 7:30pm; tickets $15-$35.) And on Sunday, head to Interlochen Center for the Arts for Shakespeare’s Love’s Labour’s Lost performed by Academy students in Harvey Theatre. (Show at 2pm; tickets $19-24.)
