More Murals! NAA Puts Out Call for Artists

Fresh off the inaugural Traverse City Mural Fest, we turn our sights north to the Northport Arts Association (NAA), which has put out a call for artists for an exciting new project. NAA is spearheading an installation for five large works of art, “each to be prominently displayed in public buildings throughout the Village of Northport,” per their press release. The murals will be made of approximately 130 glazed tiles that will be arranged either vertically or horizontally with measurements of 5x3 feet or 3x5. The finished murals will be installed at the Leelanau Township Office entrance, Leelanau Township Library, Village of Northport Meeting Room, Northport Public School, and Northport Creek Golf Course.
