Three Weekend Festivals July 18-21

First up is the Cadillac Festival of the Arts, July 18-20 in Cadillac City Park (and other areas in town). Experience the Phyllis Olson art fair, floral demonstrations, music and dance performances, and eats from Taste of Cadillac vendors. (cadillacmichigan.com/cadillac-festival-of-the-arts) Next is the Northern Michigan Lavender Festival, held at McCormick Farmz in Wolverine on July 20 from 10am-6pm. Four local farms will offer lavender crafts, a market, U-cut in the field, and plenty of food, drinks, and tunes. (mccormickfarmz.com) And last but not least, catch the start of the AuSable River Festival in Grayling, which opens with a classic car and truck show on July 20 and then rolls into a weeklong celebration with a Hurry Up & Paddle HUP Race, a cornhole tournament, a duck derby, a dozen musical guests, and more fun.
