Traverse City Food & Wine Festival: Year Two
Aug. 15, 2026
It’s year two for the Traverse City Food & Wine Festival, held Aug. 19-23 at locations throughout northern Michigan. This is a sort of choose-your-own-adventure type of festival, where you can go in on the big events—like the Grand Tasting at TC’s Open Space, where dozens of culinary vendors will be slinging dishes alongside 100+ local craft beverages—or you can take it as an opportunity to visit wineries, restaurants, coffee shops, and more for tastings and workshops. You can even book vineyard tours, sip and sail cruises, and celebrity chef dinners. And read more about one of the visiting cookbook authors (Great American Baking Show winner Martin Sorge) later in this issue, who has not one but two events at the festival. See the full itinerary and get tickets at traversecityfoodandwine.com. P.S. Many events have already sold out, so click over there quickly!
