Want to Go to Prom?

Nov. 7, 2026

Dig that dress out of the back of your closet, don a boutonniere, and rent a limo…we’re going to prom! Actually, we’re going to Interlochen Center for the Arts’ Corson Auditorium to catch Interlochen’s Musical Theatre Company performing the Tony-nominated musical The Prom, but dressing up is still encouraged. The show takes place in a small Indiana town where a high schooler isn’t allowed to bring her girlfriend to the biggest dance of the year. Enter: Four stars from Broadway who come to lend their advocacy and talent, and maybe learn a thing or two about themselves along the way. Interlochen calls the show “hilarious, uplifting, and deeply moving.” Catch showtimes on Friday, Nov. 13, and Saturday, Nov. 14, at 7:30pm, plus a 2pm matinee on Sunday. Tickets are $38 for adults, $19 for children and students at interlochen.org/events.
