This small but mighty bagel shop recently got a shoutout from The New York Times, and for good reason. Bubbie’s Bagels of Traverse City makes their bagels the old-fashioned way, with a sourdough base, a boil before baking (key for the perfect texture), and plenty of classic flavors. (And don’t miss their wide selection of cream cheese, including June’s schmear: Strawberry Balsamic.) Level up with one of their bagel sandwiches, which hit just right for breakfast or lunch.
