There’s a new pie on the menu at the Grand Traverse Pie Company. Created to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Pure Michigan, the Fresh Coast Pie features tart cherries, Northern Spy apples, and Rubel blueberries. (For those familiar with Pie Co.’s offerings, these are the ingredients in three of their bestsellers: the Grand Traverse Cherry, the Peninsula Apple, and the West Bay Blueberry.) This is one of the signature crumb pies, so you know you’ll be getting plenty of sweet oat crumble topping. And, in place of the bakery’s usual heart at the center, there’s an edible Upper and Lower Peninsula!
