Heartwood Ciders’ Bramble

Bottoms Up
Aug. 15, 2026

One of the two new cideries in northern Michigan this year, Heartwood Ciders is nestled near Jacobs Farm and Rove Estate, just a few miles from downtown TC. With 10 ciders to choose from—and two more coming on board in the next few weeks or months for an even dozen—Heartwood gives both sweet and dry drinkers plenty to explore. As good journalists do, we ordered all nine that were on tap (in flight form! to share!), and our top pick was the Bramble (6.2 percent ABV). This has the highest residual sugar of the lot, made with strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries in addition to the classic apple. While sweet, it’s not sticky, and gives that perfect mid-summer quench on a hot day. Stop in and find your favorite at 13775 S. Lautner Rd. heartwoodciders.com
