Leelanau Sourdough Co.’s Blueberry Muffins
Tastemaker

Though we don’t know the Muffin Man personally, we suspect a similar magic is at play at Leelanau Sourdough Co. in Traverse City, where the scratch-made muffins are the stuff of legend. This time of year, it’s all about the blueberries, which this micro-bakery sources from Bulldog Berries (also Traverse City) and incorporates fresh into every batch for a satisfyingly fruity pop. Add to that a tender crumb made moist and airy by a touch of Greek yogurt and the gut-boosting benefits of an active sourdough starter, and you’ve got the perfect berry-vanilla bite in grab-and-go form. Muffin Man, eat your heart out! Psst—these babies are also available in vibrant lemon poppyseed. Get the fresh-baked goods from Leelanau Sourdough Co. at the Vander Farm stand in Traverse City (5765 E Traverse Hwy). instagram.com/vander_farm
