If you had to choose, what would the signature flavor of northern Michigan be? Is it local whitefish? The famous cherry? If we’re talking wine, Pinot Blanc is the answer—and we’ve found our new favorite in the crispy perfection that is Left Foot Charley’s Blanc. Featuring Pinot Blanc grapes harvested from a handful of small farms on Old Mission Peninsula (and a touch of local Auxerrois), this 2025 vintage is fermented in stainless steel and sees a quick interaction with yeast for a zippy texture that moves on the palette. Expect lively flavors of citrus and fresh apple skin. Refreshing, electric, and downright delicious, it’s pure northern Michigan in a bottle.
