Locking in Lollapalooza

No longer a traveling circus of sorts, but a summer concert destination nonetheless, a revamped version of Lollapalooza has been locked down for July 23 and 24 in Chicago, with early tix available for a reasonable $35 for both days. So what do you get for your thirty-five bucks? Well - for starters - live sets from Weezer, The Pixies, Cake, Kaiser Chiefs, Dandy Warhols, Billy Idol, Bravery, The Killers, The Pixies, Liz Phair, Death Cab For Cutie, and Dashboard Confessional, among others - 70 total artists on five stages. The event will take place in The Windy City’s Grant Park, and is still being helmed by Lolla founder Perry Farrell.
