Welcome to CloveRFest

Aug. 23, 2006
August 25, 26, 27 • 10 am - 10 pm

Please join us for the launch of a powerful festival with an unprecedented positive spirit and beat in one of America’s most beautiful waterfront cities. A global dance party with a greater purpose: to bring people together from the world-over to dance and celebrate their life and faith. This is the kind of entertainment event the world needs more of in a most urgent way. Fresh, energetic dance music to lift away the cares of the times and remind us that there is so much fun to be had as we live the gift of each day. Christ said in John 10:10, “I have come that thy may have life and have it more abundantly.” His words tells us that by following him and what he teaches, we will experience the greatest and most fulfilling life we are capable of enjoying.
This special global dance event highlights the fact that living Christianity produces a highly creative and engaging life, not a boring one. The CloveR message underscores the point that the Bible guidelines for life are not meant to hinder us from having a good time in any way. On the contrary, these powerful words of encouragement and instruction are meant to bless us with the realization of our best possibilities.
CloveR is a real and massive manifestation of this truth. The launch of this special festival itself illustrates that in the greatest sense, His way truly makes everyday a party with a purpose.

About Our Name:
CloveR stands for Christ’s Love Restores, Respects, and Rejoices. The clover is a long-standing symbol of Christianity due to its three distinct leaves representing the Trinity: The Father, The Son, and Holy Spirit. Of further inspiring significance, a clover plant itself offers a wonderful analogy of Christ’s power and its work through one Christ-living Christian: If you plant one clover in a meadow, over time the entire meadow will become clover. If you plant one Christ-living Christian in any life situation, the events will change for the best simply by the presence and example of this special person. The CloveR Festival celebrates the personal potential we each possess to help God create the world around us.
Festival Mission:
CloveR’s mission is connecting and energizing the spirits of young adults through the power of Christ and an exciting experience of life-inspiring dance music, art, fashion, electronics, games, activities, and entertainment interests which are important to global youth and dance music culture.

About Our Cover...

Our CloveR Festival cover artwork features Saint Cecilia, the patron saint of music, cast in a modern setting along with the rhythm of bees, which communicate via dance. The 3D original painting was created by lenticular artist Chris Dean of Royal Oak, who was chosen as the ideal creator for this work. Dean skillfully and confidently walks the tenuous line of being an avant-garde and cutting-edge new talent while retaining his moral sensibility.
His aesthetic is grounded in his Christian ethics while he explores his interest in scientific advancement, usually viewed through the lens of kitschy ‘50s and ‘60s science classroom text books and film strips.
The commemorative poster will be available for sale at the festival in the Merchandise Tents for $15 along with CloveR brand gear, including hats, t-shirts, bags and temporary tattoos, among other fun festival items.
