East Leland Apple Club’s Apple Chips

If an apple a day keeps the doctor away, we’re munching our daily dose in the form of East Leland Apple Club’s gourmet apple chips. Sourced from a no-spray heritage farm in Lake Leelanau, these crispy rings (which feature predominantly Ida Red apples) are hand-cut using a mandolin, dehydrated, and meticulously seasoned in small batches for serious flavor payoff. Signature varieties include lemon, cinnamon, black licorice, tajin, curry, and citrusy sumac, but new additions and seasonal features mean there are about 16 total to choose from. Enjoy a handful as a sweet treat, crumbled into granola, or as part of a fall charcuterie spread. It’s all apple-solutey delicious! Find East Leland Apple Club at area farmers markets through December (including the Indoor Farmers Market at the Grand Traverse Commons in November), or online at instagram.com/eastlelandappleclub.
