Five Impact100 Winners
Stuff We Love
Oct. 3, 2026
When Traverse City’s Impact100 first started, the goal was to raise $100,000 per year to support a local nonprofit, with each member of the group (all 100 of them) adding $1,000. Now, a decade after their founding, Impact100 wants to raise that annual bar to half a million dollars. They’re off to a strong start—at the end of September, Impact100 had their annual award meeting that delivered a total of $360,000 to three grantees: 5Loaves2Fish (a community meals program fighting food insecurity), The Bay Community Theatre in Suttons Bay, and Friends of the Fife Lake Public Library. Each received $120,000. Two other finalists, Friends of the Betsie Valley Trail and Michigan Indian Legal Services, each got a $3,000 award. In their 10 years of operation, Impact100 has generated more than $3 million for nonprofits in the five-county area. How will they grow next? impacttc.org
